  • The way she made connections between race and class in practically every segment of the show last night was bloody effing brilliant. I don't think I have ever seen such clear, contextual and astute analysis on the way those issues intersect with policy and politics on the TV machine before.

  • it's the implication that she should be muzzled, like a dog. equating humans with animals to indicate they are somehow "lesser than" has long been used against women, people of color etc.

  • you know...if FOX had run a segment on Nancy Pelosi or Hilary Clinton under a headline that in any way suggested she should be "muzzled", most of us here at TRMS Blog would be pretty ticked off about it...and rightly so.
